Composition of the main active principles of our snail secretion
Active principles
Helix Aspersa Müller Snail secretion
INCI name: Snail Secretion Filtrate
Folic Acid - unclogs pores and eliminates acne-causing bacteria.
Vitamins - along with protein, freeze-dried snail slime is rich in vitamins A, C and E. They protect, enrich and soften the skin.
Vitamin A - helps achieve a tanned complexion while promoting skin hydration.
Vitamin C - protects against viral or bacterial infections of aging skin, aids healing and allows the skin to naturally produce more collagen.
Vitamin E - an antioxidant that protects vital cells, reduces inflammation and promotes skin hydration.
Sugars - sorbitol is the most suitable moisturizer. By mechanism of action, it
looks like amino acids. It forms a soft layer on the skin that retains moisture in the stratum corneum (horny layer).
Essential trace elements - these are the nutrients that the body cannot manufacture on its own. In small daily amounts, they allow our cells to function well.
Urea - acts as a bacteriostat, helping to epithelialize the skin, moisturizes and softens.
Essential amino acids - lysine, methionine, threonine, leucine, isoleucine, phenylalanine, valine, tryptophan.
Semi-essential amino acids - Arginine and histidine.
Allantoin - repairing nitrogen compound that promotes skin regeneration. Recognized for its healing and antioxidant properties, it slows down the skin aging process by eliminating the free radicals contained in the cells. Allantoin is used in medicine to treat wounds and burns and in cosmetics for its softening and anti-acne properties.
Collagen Elastin – these are the structural proteins essential for the rigidity and elasticity of the skin, the main components of connective tissue slowing down the effects of aging. They make it possible to erase wrinkles, reduce stretch marks, they reduce acne and hyperpigmentation.
Glycolic Acid - improves skin texture and appearance, reduces wrinkles, acne and hyperpigmentation. Removes dead skin cells from the upper layer of the epidermis, leaving the lower layer appear younger, toned and shiny. Very effective in the treatment of scars.
Hyaluronic acid (mucopolysaccharide) instantly hydrates and retains moisture in cells. Soothes and heals small wounds. Visibly rejuvenates and eliminates fine lines on the face.
Chondroitin sulfate - it is an important structural component of cartilage. It offers, among other things, great resistance to compression. Along with glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate is widely used as a dietary supplement for the treatment of osteoarthritis (osteoarthritis).
Superoxide dismutase - an antioxidant that protects cells against oxidative stress.
Free amino acids - stimulate regeneration processes in the skin and rejuvenate it.
